TERMS & CONDITION OF SALE:
All the prices on the web-site are in USA dollars but the quotation is also
possible in European EUROS.
The clients from the European Community must communicate us their V.A.T.
number (or T.V.A.) if their company is V.A.T. registered.
TRANSPORT:
Freight is shipped collect. F.O.B. Tuscany-Italy-Europe .
For consignments up to 20 Kg we ship worldwide using FedEx or UPS.
For weights that exceed the kg. 20, normally, the works are sent by truck to
all the European countries.
As concerns the other countries, the works are sent by sea.
Urgent deliveries can be sent by air in accordance with the agreements made
between us and the customer.
All transportation and insurance costs are borne by the customer.
The wood boxes for packing are indicated in invoice to the cost.
Shipping and insurance costs will be indicated on our confirmation of order
or pro-forma
invoice.
The buyer has to pay all customs duties, taxes, official charges and the
charges for the fulfillment of the customs formalities regarding the opera.
INSURANCE:
The works are checked before packing. We guarantee that the works are in
perfect condition and that they respond exactly to the quality and safety
requirements.
We cannot respond or accept responsibility for damages occurred during
transportation or because of negligence of others.
The goods shipped out by mail or by express courier are not insured; on the
other hand, those sent by truck, by ship or by air are covered by the
insurance. The insurance fee is included in the C.I.F. port of arrival
(C.I.F. = Cost of material + insurance + freight).
Upon receiving the merchandise, we recommend that the client checks the
contents of the packing and, if damage is noted, that he contacts the
shipping company IMMEDIATELY in order to notify the problem. We would like
to receive a copy of all the documentation regarding the damage too.
It is always a good idea to sign the delivery documents with a “We reserve
the right to check the material” clause. We recommend you to check the goods
immediately and, in case of damage, to keep both the packing as well as the
damaged goods in order to permit the insurance company to examine the damage
and authorize the payment due.
In any case, we suggest you to not return the material (unless you have
written authorization); in fact, the expenses would increase with the new
shipping.
TERMS ARE
PREPAID.
We cannot start production until full payment has been received.
For the sculptures
and statues in marble we request the payment
in advance
of the 60%, non reimbursable amount,
of the
total value
and the
balance on notice opera ready for to be delivered.
All order must be paid in full before we can ship. We accept money orders,
certified checks, Visa, and MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
PROCESSING
TIME:
we don’t have works in the atelier, we work on order of the customer
therefore we will point out in the confirmation of order the anticipated
date for the consignment,
however due to the vagaries and variations of the materials we use we can
only offer an expected time, we will not accept any liability from any loss
what so ever from any delay in delivering our works.
We can make sculptures and statues in marble on specific of the customer; we
will quote the opera as soon as in possession of artwork and design
specifications.
No minimum order.
VARIOUS:
All the measurements presented in this web site are approximate and all the
models are subjected to changes.
We use 100% natural marbles, sometimes, some of these marbles may contain
slighy natural blemishes, color variations and pitting. We reserve the right
to treat, repair and use these materials wherever necessary.
The customer is more than welcome to visit our atelier for view the marbles
and the work in progress.
Once the client places an order, it is understood that he/she accepts the
above-mentioned conditions.
In case of contestation, the contract shall be governed by the Italian law
(Court of Lucca).
Shipping and handling are non-refundable.
In the case where merchandise must be returned to us for inspections you
will be charged for the replacement until the damaged product has been
returned and inspected. It is your responsibility to get the damaged goods
back to us.
In case of returns shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
