My question is this: Do I need an adapter to use the telephone in the U.S?
And the other question: The sound of the telephone ring in the U.S. is different from the sound of the ring in Europe. In the U.S. the ring is a longer single ring - "rrrrrriiiiing" ---- "rrrrriiiiing"  ...
In Europe it is "ring-ring" -"ring-ring" ----- "ring'ring" - "ring-ring" ...
Does that make any sense?
