This is the "GRILLO" telephone, designed in 1965 in Italy by Marco Zanuso and
Richard Sapper
jointly created the ancestor of todays mobiles.
The GRILLO phone It is widely recognized as a classic of the "Moderne" era.
Only when it is open activate the receiver and dial - just like our mobiles today.
It was winning with the gold Compass in 1967, published in the best reviews of
the world and
it is present in the permanent collection, in the prestigious museum
Moma in New York.
